The Fool

The Fool or The Jester is the first or the last of the 78 cards in a Tarot deck; and one of the 22 Trump cards that make up the Major Arcana. The Fool is unnumbered; sometime represented as 0 (the first) or XXII (the last) Major Arcana in decks.
A friend just introduced me to Rumi and this quote is so relevant to the fool card , thought I would share it with you .

“Forget safety. Live where you fear to live. Destroy your reputation. Be notorious.” ― Rumi

The Fool my favourite card and also my personal trump card and is one of the most misundersttod cards .
The Fool represents the untapped potential in all of us.
'Fools rush in where angels fear to tread' however sometimes it can be wise to 'Look before you leap'.
The fool appears at a time when you are about to make new beginnings . new relationships or even when you are looking towards an out of the box solution . The fool is about the unknown, a life experience that will be exciting and fun. Any challenges along the way will make you a more experienced and perhaps wiser person
The fool represents the planet Uranus and the planet has just entered Aries in 2013 , the natural ruler of the first house of the self. While in this sign we as individuals and the collective will feel the need to exert ourselves, our opinions and ideas. This is the nature of the first house of the horoscope. Aries is ruled by Mars, often called the ‘God of War,’ and the energy to assert oneself becomes very strong in this sign.
The nature of Uranus is to bring change, often sudden and unexpected or disruptive. Uranus is about the new, the untried and it is about revolution. so get ready for change if you have pulled out the fool card in your reading .
